DIES S.r.l. was founded as a company for the construction of sheet metal tools in 1988 by Mr Antonio Bernardini. DIES was headquartered in Abbiategrasso, a city in the province of Milan and well known for its many manufacturers of equipment and machines for household appliance companies around the world.
The relationship between the founder and Electrolux, Zanussi, started in the ‘70s but it is between Dies and Zanussi Forlì that in the ’90s a close collaboration began, which has been fruitful and relevant in the experiences of both companies until today.
The new factory was opened in 2000 in Cassinetta di Lugagnano (MI), 1km from Abbiategrasso, 15min from the MI-TO motorway and 30 minutes from Malpensa airport. It consists of a production area of 3,000 sqm open space and fully served by overhead cranes and offices covering an area of 500 sqm.
The company’s reliability is to be found in the assistance and cooperation provided by DIES after the moulds have been set up.
Thanks to the company’s philosophy, the staff is seen as the customer’s “partner” and not just another “salesman”.
