1988

The birth of DIES

DIES S.r.l. was founded in 1988 by Antonio Bernardini and Giacomo Caminada. Their passion in the field of sheet metal and precision mechanics, and their desire to put their knowledge and skills to good use, drove them to create a company where they could combine experience and innovation in the manufacture of progressive transfer and manual dies for both sheet metal and stainless steel.

In a market where professionalism and quality are indispensable conditions for a successful company, Dies applies both as an essential policy to obtain highly technological and accurate solutions with the aim of being able to offer the end customer a high quality product, meeting all his needs while maintaining competitive prices.

1999/2000

Growth and Improvement

The progressive recognition of DIES on the market as a leader in its sector, together with the desire for growth and improvement, generates a new opportunity.

DIES S.r.l. moved its activity from the plant in Via Dante in Abbiategrasso (MI) to the new plant in Cassinetta di Lugagnano (MI).

2003

Quality and Control

Always with a view to growth and improvement, as well as quality and precision, DIES renews, with substantial investments, its fleet of machinery and in particular with the acquisition of a finished product control instrument. A 3D measuring device for detailed control of the particular measurements required.

2012

Innovation and Energy

Co-founder Antonio Bernardini passed away and was succeeded by his children DAVIDE and FRANCESCA, who are also heirs to his passion.

The two successors maintain the same philosophy as their father, always together with Giacomo Caminada, bringing further freshness, innovation and energy to the company.

2022/2023

New Corporate Asset

Co-Founder Giacomo Caminada passed away and, exactly as happened when Antonio passed away, his daughter Angela Caminada took over the company asset.

In consideration of the excellent results achieved and, in order to allow further growth based on innovation as per the vision of the new company leadership, DAVIDE A. BERNARDINI.
